Police Association of
Ormond Romano LLC as Counsel of Record
Stamford
CT — August 30, 2011 — The Law Firm of Ormond Romano LLC today announced their
appointment as legal counsel for the Police Association of Connecticut (PAC). The recent appointment follows the death
earlier this year of Atty. E. Gaynor Brennan, Jr. who had represented PAC for
nearly four decades. A distinguished
member of the bar and highly respected public servant, Brennan passed away in
March.
The
oldest police fraternal organization in Connecticut, PAC was established more
than a century ago for the protection and promotion of police officers
throughout Connecticut. Attorney Romano
respectfully accepted the selection at a recent Board meeting of the PAC,
saying, “It is an Honor to be selected as Counsel for such a valuable
organization and following someone as respected as Attorney Brennan makes the
selection that much more of an honor.”
According
to Police Association of Connecticut secretary Gary Michell
(Stamford Police Department), “PAC is extremely pleased to be represented by
Ormond Romano LLC. They bring an extremely unique perspective to their practice.
As retired police officers and
experienced attorneys, they understand both PAC and also all aspects of the
law.” Attorney Earl Ormond added, “Both
Ralph and I have been members of PAC for more than 20 years as police officers
and this appointment allows us to support the organization in new and exciting
ways.”
